Meet Amaia

Before little four year old Amaia was born, she suffered a stroke leaving her left side extremely weak. Her physical therapist suggested they get a Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulator to help muscular therapy when she is at home as well as at Brooks Rehab Center.

JTTF is able to provide Empi Continuum NES units on a loaner basis. So, when insurance denied their request, they reached out to JTTF.

“We have several units that have been donated to us by DJO Global.” said Judi Zitiello with JTTF. “The units are expensive to purchase and can really make a difference in muscular tone and speed recovery. We are so happy we can provide help when there is an insurance gap. That is what JTTF is all about.”
