First steps independently

Smiling Matthew Alvarez sports crutches and a body suit that enable him to take steps independently thanks to some help from JT Townsend and his foundation. “We have completed 2 of the 3 weeks of Matthew’s Intense Therapy. He is doing really well, and we are so excited with all the core strength he is gaining…Thanks for all your help and support.” said Christy Alvarez, Matthews’ Mom.

Insurance would not cover the significant cost of this intense therapy. But, thanks to Erin Hutchinson, who referred Christy to JTTF, Matthew can have the therapy he needs. Erin told Christy about how JTTF was able to help them with son Jack’s toiletting system that had also been denied by insurance. That is when we went into action. While we could not provide the total cost of the program, we were able to give the Alvarez family a part of the expense.
