2011 Christmas Tree Tour a huge success

You will not want to miss out on this event again. Richard and Lynda Masulli, both JTTF Board of Directors, generously opened their Marsh Landing home to supporters for a tour of 25 stunning Christmas trees Thursday, December 15th, 2011. Each tree was themed and designed and decorated by the Masulli’s themselves. Richard passionately described each tree and shared colorful stories of the designers from which he purchases his collectable ornaments as he accompanied many of the visitors on the tour. Everyone was amazed at the interesting and beautiful display of this collection of trees of all shapes and sizes.

The daytime tour lasted from 10AM till 4PM and was an great way for friends to kick off the upcoming Christmas festivities. Punch and desserts filled the dining room table and kitchen buffet for visitors as they took in the beauty of Susan Breen, Mia and Serrabella ornaments, just to name a few. Mark Roberts – Twelve Days of Christmas and more sat on the steps of the open staircase leading to the second level where more stunning trees awaited.

The tour closed from 4 PM till 6PM while the theme shifted to a magical evening reception. Valet parking (Starlight Valet) greeted evening guests. As the front entrance opened the sound of a Grand Piano filled the air as the pianist, Lance Henry played and sang Christmas Carols. The evening fare included hot and cold hors’ dourves prepared by Lynda Masulli as well as tasty donations from The Perfect Pear. Caymus Wines and Southern Wine and Spirits provided wine and Champion Brands, a selection of fine brews. It was a beautiful evening.

During both tours, the limited edition, first in a series ornament, “JT GIVES BACK “designed by “Mia” , were displayed and offered at $45 each. The proceeds of the tour and the sale of ornaments goes to provide children and adults on the First Coast with adaptive pieces of equipment suited to their needs as well as funding for spinal cord research.

With the blessing of the Masulli’s, we hope to make this an annual event. Will you be there?
